Gripping tales about The Smiths' biggest hit

BBC Radio 4's music podcast 'Soul Music' consistently excels in lifting people up across physical distances, and into the collective conscious of music. Each episode is about one particular piece of music, and different recordings of the music are turned up and down in volume while a person (usually from one of the British Isles) tells of a time in their life when this music had a special meaning to them.

There are many places to start, but this episode is a good 28 minute test of the podcast. It revolves around the 80's indie classic 'There is a light that never goes out' by The Smiths, and we hear, among other things, a story about a mother whose son was seriously ill, and with this song regained hope that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
